Hello. My name is John Schrofel but this is actually not my real name. After working as an operative in the "intelligence" field defending our country against innumerable threats, it was felt that my work was done. The government, or "The Man", decided to reward me with a six-figure income teaching in the LSSD at RSS. So, here I am. If I seem out of it when dealing with the technology, it is only a front. The "Agency" taught me many things that I could share with you about computer systems and hacking techniques to reroute Swiss bank accounts but I don't want to invoke the, "correct the situation using extreme prejudice" of the old job any more.

In my new life I would like to try these three things with ICT in my classroom this year:
1.) Research, organize and prepare information electronically to complete and create the Heritage Fair projects for my grade 6's;
2.) I would like to obtain a list/collection of sites, activities et al., with minimal effort that would really help me use my SmartBoard more
effectively in my instruction;
3.) Use the laptops our school has more often in the regular classroom setting (above and beyond the Heritage Fair for example)
4.) I would like to teach my son to install and maintain wireless surveillance equipment so that I am able to monitor in real time his Grade 4 teacher at Happy Thought (Her code name: JoJo S.)
